This autumn the North of England Steiner Waldorf Early Childhood Studies programme (NESWEC) will provide an initial early childhood training course based in the York Steiner School.

Ringwood Waldorf School International Summer School, UK

A fun packed programme of English classes and activities with students from all over the world.
This is a fund raising project for the Upper School building and makes use of volunteer families from the school community and a mix of paid and volunteer staff. EFL Teachers are provided by Lewis School of English who market and administer the centre.

Sea Heart School Chocolate Fundraiser!

Delicious, dark, organic chocolate bars with cured organic vanilla from cacao harvested by an indigenous family in the school and cacao and vanilla from the Botanical Garden we visit every week!

The Sea Heart School in Costa Rica has created their own chocolate bars and they are now for sale. All profits from the sale of their bars will go to supporting their scholarship program, developing their biodynamic garden at the school and funding their earthbag building project.

Arab Spring – Sowing Seeds in Palestine

Rudolf Steiner College will be welcoming two Arab teachers from Israel and one from the West Bank onto their campus this summer.

The Nelson Waldorf School would like to extend an invitation for families from around the world to enrol for a year or part year.

Many parents from places such as Germany, Netherlands, Israel, Tanzania, to name a few, have taken a temporary leave of absence from their jobs and busy lives and have come to Nelson to allow their children to learn English and experience another culture within the nurturing environment of an accredited Waldorf School. These parents not only provided their child with an enriching educational opportunity but have also been able to take part in all the outdoor and cultural splendours offered in this pristine mountain village.

The Nelson Waldorf school is nestled in a 35 acre forest in a valley in southeast British Columbia, just outside of the small, vibrant city of Nelson. One of only a few rural Waldorf schools in North America, the Nelson Waldorf School enjoys phenomenal support from the people of Nelson and has also attracted families from all over the world to visit and stay.

The city of Nelson is picturesque, perched on a mountainside overlooking Kootenay Lake, and full of beautiful older homes and turn of the century stone buildings. Nelson enjoys four seasons of outdoor recreation opportunity, and demonstrates a very real sense of community. The area offers a wide variety of outdoor recreational and wilderness opportunities, as well as a comprehensive recreational facility in the city itself. Nelson is considered an excellent place to raise a family.
